It is deeper than it looks in that picture and yea I did not have much momentum when I went though it because it did not look that bad but that was only the crust

LOL... Wide open till u see god then brake..
The bumper has to be what you want it to be.. I prefer d-rings in the front, but that is just me.. Make sure it comes with frame supports.. other wise u could cause frame damage in the front if not supported..
Nice stuck though!

FYI looks like that link is only that brush gaurd dealio, and not for cherokees.
Go into the vendor section and look at the bumpers from l&l fab...suppose you could also check his site too www.landlafabrication.com.
IMHO it's the best bang for your buck, there's just a wait time.
On another note, looks like you found a fun place to get stuck lol

The stock bumper was never meant to be a recovery point and now you see why. It's nothing more than sheet metal welded to two mounting brackets. There's no substance to it.
If you can weld and want to go cheap just fab up a couple of mounts that mount in the sock spots and the next bolts back on the frame/body and weld a piece of 3/8 angle iron to them with a couple of d-ring tabs.
Even if you can't weld pickup a mid range Lincoln or Hobart (Northern Tools) Mig welder and practice a little. It's way easier to weld than people make it out to be, especially MIG.
