NEED HELP! 1990 JEEP CHEROKEE 4x4 vacume controls
Does anyone know anything about making the vacume controls work properly? Would like to make them work. Was checking out vacume shift motor, and it seems to work. If I remove the green vacume which seems to disconect the axle when put in to 2wd vacume is strong on that green tube. I switch to 4wd high vacume goes from green to yellow vaccume is there but weak. Vacume motor works good if I use the green tube which has strong vacume to where the yellow is. What could be making the vacume weak on the yellow vacume tube? Got left side totaly torn apart - ball joints, axle, intermediate axle, pinion cover, hub, brakes, etc... Front end was popping hard when I would turn all the way left then back to right in stationary position. Replacing drag link, ball joints upper and lower both sides, axle u joints both sides, brakes, and axle seals. Also installing axle tube seals at outer edge.
