I'm not sure one exists. There are many that claim to be 96, but then end up being just 95 or 97 with an altered title page. The 97 is useful for many things on a 96, but when it comes to electrical they are quite different. Eventually I ended up getting a 95 and 97 guide so that I could jump back and forth between whichever was most accurate (95 for electrical, and 97 for chassis, suspension, steering). Neither is completely accurate for me. But generally helpful.
In the end, I caved and just bought a new condition paper edition of the actual manual. There are sites online that specialize in selling vintage manuals like that. It was not cheap, but I love that I have it. It is the only document that has thus far accurately depicted the 96 (and for me, I had to buy the supplemental manual as well, because the late-year 96 had many updates making it more like the 97).
Good luck, I hope you find an electronic copy, let us know if you do.
