Back in July I ordered from Nates 4x4 a custom XJ front bumper for MRB (Michigan Rust Bomb), along with some hood spacers, and some rear unibody tie ins. Total was around $530. I used one of my last paychecks as my job (and everyone else at the plant) was shipped off to another state, we were working very hard those last few months to get everything out the door and on time to customers. I wanted to do something nice for my Jeep which has had a hard life so I decided to order from Nates 4x4 a Michigan based company. I was really happy I found the site and it looked great.

Well I never got anything from this guy, and he did not respond to any emails or phone calls. His website is down, and the business phone seems disconnected. I tried to do some research and it seems like any websites just want money for any information, they did mention a recent court case or filings so I am guessing a divorce or bankruptcy or possibly both. If there was a bankruptcy then hes protected and I cant get anything.

I was wondering if anybody actually knows what happened, and how I can get into contact with this guy and ask what happened to my stuff.

Otherwise I am buying a little Hobart Mig and a DIY JCR front bumper kit which I now realize I should have done all along. I just hope others were not screwed as bad as me or even worse, I am single so I can absorb this, I know others are not in the same situation.

Thanks, I was getting older threads when I searched. I will look again.

For the record I am not going after this guy and I hope whatever he is going through he bounces back, but I do want to know what happened.
