Default my jeeps submodel?

ok so its a 1996 four door five speed 4.0 dealer told me it was a SE but i guess those are only the four cylinders,and it doesnt have a sport badge sooo idk can anyone help me out? thanks!

idk much about the older style cherokees but most of the 97+ are sports

Trim levels in 96 were SE, Sport, Country, Classic
Can't really tell which without looking at it. But it doesn't really matter which sub model it is. It'll just have different features. SE will be like a base model with few add ons from the factory. And I think country had everything including a sun roof on some
Just tell everyone it's a sport

The SE is the most watered down version you can get, it does come with either the 4 or the 6, and the easiest way to tell is by the dash, SE has no tachometer. your 5 speed is probably a sport.
