Default My Jeep has a Beep

My jeep has a reverse beep which I assume was installed by the PO, or was it? Was that an option from the factory? Just wondering if anybody else has this and if not what are your opinions on it?

It could have been a fleet vehicle. Some of them (especially anything to do with government) require the beep-beep when backing up. It would likely have been added by the agency who owned the fleet, though, not at the factory.

You may very well be right F1 Addict. I bought it from a dealership and it had 140000km. Now has bout 250000km. Its funny the different reactions that people have when they figure out the jeep has a beep. If I back up for to long the beeping kinda dies off.

Can you get them that make the beep for blinkers? That would be fun... and annoying, too
