my gear ratio please! help!

Default my gear ratio please! help!

does this mean my gear ratio is 3.07?!
i know the picture isnt great but any help would be appreciated!

Is it a manual trans? I guess a lot of 5-speed 4.0 powered xj's had 3.07 gears. The best way to figure out the ratio for sure is to count the driveshaft turns per tire revolution.

Its most likely 3.07. Dont know why they did that to the 5-speeds...

When you do count the revolutions, only jack up one rear tire off the ground. Then you will have to spin the one tire two times and count the revolutions of the driveshaft. If you have a posi or locker then jack both the wheels and spin them around once while counting the driveshaft.

great i just got a text from the guys saying, "there is a bolt stuck in it but it can be fixed" wtf does that mean?!

Should be 3.07. Ive got a 5 speed also with 3.07 pretty lame how they put those gears in them for stock

he said one of the differential bolts for the cover pan....so should i just switch it or?
