Muffler Suggestions????
So, i've got a 4.0 and i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what muffler to run. i'm planning on keeping the cat for emissions purposes. my friend suggested the Aero Turbine 2525 and i like the sound of it, but i'm not sure how loud its going to be. I leave for work at 4:30 am and cant be waking neighbors up. I already have one complaint from them lol. If anyone has suggestions or testimonials on the 2525 PLEASE help! thanks fellas!

I have the Flowmaster super 40, and it sounds pretty good, and I've noticed improvement in power and mileage. the super 44 I believe sounds really good too. Go on youtube and look them up. The super 40 isn't really loud, but it's not quiet. I don't think it'll wake the neighbors up, as I leave my house for school at 6 and there's no complaints.

Been running the same flowmaster 40 for 6 years on my daily driver/wheeling rig. It holds up to rocks very well. not to loud, but nothing is very loud when you have a catalitic converter.

Wow... forget dropin 125 on the aeroturbine. Never heard the super 40 used on the I6 engine. And for 80 bucks I can't beat it. Thanks!

I just got the Magnaflow muffler and a 2.5" pipe to my door for about $155. I'm not a fan of Flowmaster, I don't like the sound plus everyone and their mom puts a flowmaster. I went Magnaflow cuz the sound is clean and not too loud.

When I got the Rusty's kit 6 years ago, it was $150 with the 40 Series (not Super40) muffler. It is on its second XJ now and still works with no leaks and many, mant rock hits whelling. Both XJ's have also been daily drivers.
considering the years, abuse, and sound, you can't beat that.
