So I'm thinking about moving to Denver after I graduate in about a year (I'm in Georgia now). I have a 1992 XJ 4.0 on 31s with no lift and stock gears. How do y'all think it will drive in the mountains of Denver? Will re-gearing be a necessity to cope with the elevation?
What else should I do to compensate for the elevation?

I drove my jeep from PA to WY. I've lived here for 2 years now. elevation 8,000ft. Never had to do anything to cope with elevation change.

I'm in Utah and a good 90% of all XJ's here are running 31-33" tires with stock gearing, I am include but only because I ran into financial issues a week before I was scheduled to have my XJ regeared so I am saving to have it done again

Good to hear I won't have to spend money on regearing!
