one of my old neighbors just told me thsi story a few days ago: he went for a quick trail ride one day in the summer while visiting family in Mississippi. seemed like it would have been a normal day of wheeling, but suddenly all these guys dressed in medieval clothing, carrying foam swords, shields, maces, and some dudes had full armor on having this epic LARP battle. he freaked and floored his K5 Blazer through the trees and slide to a stop in this partially opened field that was surrounded by tents and little shop stands. all these people were there looking at him like "wtf?" turns out he crashed the local Renaissance Fair.

Let's see. When in middle of nowhere az after spending the night in the jeep cause my buddie snapped his tie rod I went walking down the wash and spotted an atv tire. Walked back to the Jeep got the shovel and went to dig it out of the sand. Not only did the tire come out but so did the whole quad and what was left of the guy riding . stopped at first sight of remains tho. Also have found several mine camps with all the junk to go along. Also found old shine camp. Took all the bottles and tanks. Made bank selling them to an antiques shop

A Jeep powerwheels BURIED in a rut. I have a pic of it somewhere but I just cant find it right now.
Also found the remains of an XJ that somebody stripped and dumped. Could have gotten some usable parts off of it but it had sat through the spring floods and was laying on its roof with a foot or so of mud in it.
Have also found numerous abandoned stolen vehicles that were burned out, an old Nike missle base where you could still crawl into the bunkers, sumbled upon a FAA aircraft nav beacon miles from nowhere, a dead chicken in the middle of a spray painted pentagram, some sort of 1940's car wreck with a headstone next to it (no name just a number and a birthdate and date of death).
Also once saw a guy park in front of an abandoned bridge and throw what looked like a body over the side. Turned out to be a dummy and he was placing it there for the FD to practice rescue. We stayed and got to help them lower down the stretcher as we were already at the base of the old bridge.
New england is full of slobs. If you can imagine it it is dumped/abandoned in the woods up here. Lots of kids buy a 50 dollar POS and will wheel it till it gets stuck or dies then either just walk away or they will burn it where it sits. Lots of trails get closed because the FD gets tired of putting out the forest fires these morons cause.

found this on a trail one night. it wasnt just any trail either, it was a rather difficult narrow trail that we all were maneuvering thru switch backs at full crank and dealing with boulders. and then we found this near the top sideways on the the trail with its front end smashed into a tree. It was a Plato and there was only one tree.... lol
still puzzled to this day how it go there without a single mark on it.

Me and my bro were out hiking one day, about 4 miles from any form of civilization, in any direction, and at least 10 miles from any public road. We knew we were being followed, the guy was trying to be quiet but was kind of a noob at it. But he stayed out of sight. We were in a wooded area, so he only had to stay maybe 100 or 150 feet back to stay out of sight.
Finally, we'd had enough of being followed, and just stopped, turned around, and waited. After a short wait, this guy comes walking past us with this big-A microphone and a huge windscreen. Looked like a boom mic without the boom. He also had a backpack (full and heavy looking) and headphones on. He was in shorts and a t-shirt and looked like he had no idea what the heck he was doing (hiking anyways).
He walked past, gave us a nod, and kept going.
We turned around and went home.

im also not surprised that chevy got that far. i find deer hunters trucks sitting the d*mdest locations. i found one dodge ram 2500 ontop of a quad bike trail, we tried the same trial in a smaller f-150 and couldnt do it.
