well, the spot I usually wheel at has become the local trash dumping spot so there is alot of crap down there now but a few years ago, one area was filled in with atleast 20 dumptruck loads of dirt. In the dirt, there was a 1950's ford tractor tanny buried in the dirt.

We also find alot of 15-19 foot boats down there. I have seen atleast 5 since I started wheeling at that spot. One of the boats had a 40 foot 1/4in steel cable attached to it (finders keeper).

On a side note: since there was alot of furniture down there, my brothers and I set up a coutch, chair, TV fridge and a carpet just for laughs. When we came back a few days later, someone had set it on fire.

There's always a couple of idiots ruining our riding areas. That's why a lot of them get closed down.

Ran across a barn once that was painted a light purple and had a large grey cross on it. There were also large white circus type tents next to it. we were at least 8 miles into the woods on a path just big enough to fit the jeep down. Very creepy. We didn't stick around long enough to get pics.

So far all I've seen is trash, a moonshine still, and a Toyota that was stuck up to the doors in the mud. I guess someone just got tired of playing with a toy and bought a Jeep.

Rode down a local trail for about a mile on the quad and came up to a large clearing with a ton of 55 gallon drums with bio hazard and death labels everywhere about 7 years ago...Some tipped over and spilling whatever. The very next day a fence went up around the whole area. A few days later it was said the city bought the property and never said why. Found it all odd.

Found a riding lawnmower way out in the woods... I mean a good two hour drive on a pretty good ATV trail.... a couple weeks later I went back and it was gone. Probably still ran.

Used to be a hobo who lived out in the woods.. locals didnt like him. Good reason too. Visited (hiked to) his "camp" after the land owner drove him off found credit cards and tons of jewelry. Damn thief. I know a lot of town residents legitimitely think the land owner shot the man, and threw him and the gun in his pond. Know him, wouldnt put it pass him.

Once found a pot field out in wesley... later same year MDEA found a huge one out there..

Sometimes Ill go down some backwoods road and for miles and miles like 8-10 there will be power lines... gotta wonder whats out there. Costs a pretty penny. Usually there will be a gate after a while.

Out hunting... after I had parked my Jeep. Found a Carhart jacket a good two miles off in the woods. Came back the next day, was still there, so I took it. Washed it and still use it.

My parents have a cabin down in South Missouri and I was screwing around on some trails in the community it's in and I found what was left of what can only be described as a hippie cabin.. 60's decor, gawdy yellow flowers on EVERYTHING.. the entire place had shifted off the cinder blocks it was built on, and the roof had fell through, so I didn't get the urge to go inside to look for whoever was, I would guess, most likely still in there...

I found a boat with a pine tree growing inside it with the words, "Slaughter Road" painted on the side. Near it was a dead dog....

And another time deep in Lancaster, we found an old gas station that had a sign saying it was in some movie.

Around when i graduated high school in about 07-08, a bunch of friends and myself used to have bon fire parties out in these woods on long island that have a bunch of trails going through them. it's about a mile away from any houses, but we ran into a bunch of kids that said theres a retarded hobo that runs around out there all the time.

after we continued to go out there for a few months, we ran into this guy a couple times, he wore a diaper and a sweat shirt, and was definitely retarded, crazy crazy man. really creepy. so after we saw him, and chased him off a few times, one day we followed him to see where the hell he was going, after about a half a mile, he thought he was out of sight, starts walking all normal and acts completely fine. like he had no disability at all. creepy as hell, never did find out where he lived or where he was going. never saw him again.

I was wheeling down by the river and found a few pot plants one day also. A few days later, day the river flooded and the plants were washed away.

Oh, I almost forgot. One day we were down in one of the not so "legal" spots and a cop (in a crown vic) showed up. We though for sure we would have busted. He pulled up to us and asked us if we had seen a kid in an orange sweat shirt with clowns on his pants. We said no and he drove off towrd the path with giant puddles and deep ruts. He did not come back out for a long time so we diecide to see if he got stuck. As we got in my truck, the cop comes out of nowhere with no mud on his car. We dont know how he did it without getting stuck but it was strange.
