What's the most common problem that jeep had with the 91 Jeep Cherokee Laredo's? I've heard the injectors leak onto the exhaust manifold and start fires.what else and is this just a lack of maintenance ?

I've never heard of that lol but if its true id say lack of maintenance, or maybe if someone goes in ALOT of mud or ungodly deep water to mess something up but that the 1st time I've ever heard of that. Ima have to keep an eye on this thread. Might learn something! Lol
Fuel pressure regulator, alternator, starter and fuel pump were about all I had to replace on my 91. Oh and the t-case after it exploded, but that ain't typical. I replaced the motor after about 185,000 miles because of excessive blow by and low power. You will notice oil in your air box as a result of blow by.

Injector failure was due to poor design.

Biggest problems I've had were starters and a cracked (and eventually that crack turned into a hole) intake manifold. And fuel pumps, but once I replaced the cheap pumps with a Bosch, I quit having problems with fuel pumps.
Other than that, its been pretty much bulletproof. I've got almost 250000 miles on mine, still runs great, gets me everywhere I need to go, and gets pretty good gas mileage.
