1) Tearing out the back carpet (it was bad) and putting down marine seat fabric (water proof and easy to clean but tears and wont stay on the fenders) bedline is next
2) Not taking the time to fix my bumper brackets and reattach the bumper. Hit a car in an intersection now im without a jeep til i fix it.

Sorry to hear that. But thanks for being the test rat for me!! Now I don't want to get those tires!!! Wanted them for awhile now. Good thing I didn't get them....
I am just starting to work on my new to me XJ, so far no regrets, but I do have some things I wish the previous owner did not do.
- Drilling a large hole through the gutter to run a power cable to the lights on the roof that I quickly removed.
- Improperly wiring said lights on the roof, improperly wiring two amplifiers and a CB.
- Blocking oil passages with RTV in the transfer case when he installed the SYE, I am pretty sure this was a major contributing factor to me having to rebuild the transfer case as my first project on the XJ.
- Managing to break every piece of interior plastic in one way or another, probably while doing those great wiring jobs.
- Jacking up the Jeep by the rocker panel.....
- Removing the bar in the driver door that keeps the door open.
- Fixing a broken exhaust hangar with zip ties.....
- Installing a cold air intake. The filter gets extremely dirty very fast when offroading in sand or a dusty environment.
- Installing an alarm that no longer works, but goes off and blinks all the lights on the vehicle for two minutes every time I open a door. It also drains the battery if I dont start the Jeep every few days.
- Mounting the CB antenna on the side of the Jeep where I am confident it will get taken out by a tree or a rock.
- For some unknown reason break the top of the fan shroud so I can easily lose a finger trying to work under the hood with the engine running

Front universal coil spring spacers UNDER the coil spring. About 2 times the size as a regular spacer for an xj.
Chopped fenders and cut through rear body line so decided to cut line toward the Jeep and smash those sections up into the wheel well.
Messed with factory set idle screw on throttle body giving me all kinds of problems with high idle.
Also him not running a thermostat with the crappy closed system in Arizona's 115+ temps.
My biggest regret is buying a 3" lift instead of waiting longer and going for a higher quality 4.5" LA. Now I'm right around 4.5" with spacers and shackles, but short arms
