Need more backspacing, my 31x10.50 swampers don't rub the LCAs at all, at full lock they are an inch away. Though I had to cut the holy hell out of my fenders those rubbed bad.
Mod I regret was definitely the cool looking LED marker/signals I built. They looked awesome, first time out on an easy trail I broke both of them. That and unless it was dark no one could see my signals.

Same here. Next time I will get an adjustable one.

Also for me long shackles. Not worth the constant bashing against rocks because they hang so far down.

Yes I was. And yes those are boat bilge vents. But they do allow a lot of air in or out depending which way they mounted. And painted to match, I would think they would look better than some of the floor grates & soffet vents I've seen used. (Even if you left them chrome)

I dont have any problems with mine other than the broken hinges but that doesn't affect anything other than a little sag and rubbing but no leaks as of yet

not really a mod but I regret selling my xj SO BAD! It wasnt lifted too high, didnt have a/c or a working radio or a rear wiper....or interior lights.....or a passenger door handle.....or cancer free...but I loved it. I loved it more than my brand new car. BTW anyone selling an XJ that is 1996 or older?

A class 2 tow hitch. Just looks bad and could have put that money into a rear bumper with hitch and tow points in it.
