I have a magnetic CB antenna on top of my jeep and I am having a problem with my cord getting chewed up from the hatch, how have you guys avoided this problem?

I have three antennas, two of the three cables are ran through a grommet on the drivers side roof at the door post. The other antenna is a solid mount and it comes through the roof at the rear dome light.

I used tie wraps to route the cord along the luggage rack then down the side of the hatch. The wire gets sandwiched between the seal and the hatch. Worked fine all the time I used it up until I got my real CB setup.

Right now I have my magnetic antenna zip tied to my roof rack because it would always rattle fall over. So its in the center of my jeep and the cord goes through the center of the hatch and down the right side. But the center chew it when I open and close it. Maybe I should just make a side mount?

Do you run the cord in the top? I had the cord run between the drip rail and the luggage rack then enter the side of the hatch about 4" from the top.
