Luggage Rack Help
The dern bars on the stock luggage rack won't budge a bit! I'm trying to slide it all the way to the front and put lights on it so I don't have to buy a light bar you know? But the bar will not give. I've tried putting WD-40 on it to see if that'll loosen that button, but it didn't work for crap. I don't know what else to do and i'm gettin frustrated with it. Is the only thing left unbolting the whole thing, moving it, and bolting it back down? Any and all suggestions would be helpful. Thank yall.

You'll still have to push the button in if you take it off. There is a pin on the inside (roof side) covered by a square piece of plastic. I could never get the plastic off but your best bet would probably be some PB blaster, wait a while then get some type of blunt faced screw driver and a hammer and smack the button until it free's itself. My guess is it's never been moved before.
