lol, yeah, that always seems to throw some people for a loop. it's defiantly not a bad engine, and relatively cheap to rebuild and mod. plus if you need to find a hard to locate part, junkyards are dime a dozen with that motor. that's something i really want to do when i get the time and money is build up a truck with a big block in it and have that as some street truck. especially like an old chevy C10 or something and look into slamming like a 454 in it. paint that baby blue and pearl white with chrome trim... *drool*

dang... that's nice, lol.

just something about the chevy's of the 70's... i like the front end style to them, and the overall simplicity of the package.

yep... easy to work on... i prefer the i think 68ish model... i dont like the grill as much as the 72 with the billet insert like mine but i like the slanted hoods... i had clear lights all the way around mine and bed liner and everything... was even the camper special bed... which you see on alot of fords but not any chevys...

I need the box off that Ford!!!
The only down fall with those Ford engines out of the 70's is the fuel economy stinks. I get 6-8mpg out of the 400M in my 1978 F250.
Too bad you didn't live closer to Michigan... I wonder if I could buy that box off you and have it shipped some how.
I do have a 16' flatbed trailer... Hmmmm
Is it as rust free as it looks?

Thanks
Mike

yeah it aint got any rust... but on the drivers side it looks like maybe when they loaded it on the trailer or something the ramp come up and hit it or something else like that... was pushed up probly 4 to 6 inches... but its really not that bad...i could get a pic after this weekend... could get pulled back down and fixed... but the white paint and all is good still... not sure about in the back though... he had some junk in it...

Just Googled Griffin... A whoping 835 miles from my house. That would be a long drive in the Cherokee towing a Trailer! There's got to be a better way! But what?
