\So i am looking in to getting a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee, 96-2001. I have read that the 99 with the I6 is the better of the years. I m not sure common issues or what mileage is too high to buy for a I6. The green one you could drive now with a little work to it.The white one needs a front diff which could get costly if you can't do the work yourself.

 

OK great. Is the green one properly priced? That rear diff yolk, thats a pretty simple job?

 

If you never done it before its something i would pay a shop to do.It depends if he means the yoke its self is shot or its the seals behide it that are shot.As far as price i can't say being prices very state to state.But if the green one is rust free and runs and drives good besides the problems listed i would buy it.
