ok thanks. and how much are spare shafts and where do i get them?

 

heres a comparison of the 35 vs the 8.25 , the 35 is more round and the 35 has a flat bottom, in the real photo the 8.25 on the left and dana 35 on the right

 

spare shafts can be found in most junk yards ,i got front spares for like 30 bucks at a local u pull it backs should be about the same but sometimes its not so easy swaping them out on the trails , you have to pull the wheels , pull the diff cover get the axel out replace , reseal the diff cover and add oil , the joy of c clip axels , im gonna up grade my 8.25 to non c clip , superior makes a kit to eliminate them, but i have never had a problem with my 8.25 yet , knock on wood lol
