Default Locker question

Has anyone ran the powertrax nonslip traction system or the lock right one?

Ive got the No-Slip in my XJ and it makes a HUGE difference! Ive had mine for 10,000 miles and ive had 31 Super Swampers and now 32 A/T's and its held up like a champ. I recomend it to anyone looking for a locker. Ive had it to where most all the pressure was on a single rear tire many time and the locker is yet to fail me.

What brand did you get?was it easy to install?

Its the Powertrax No-Slip locker and the instructions are pretty good, a lot easyer than my buddys Aussie locker. I was done within 2 hours so it wasnt hard by any means

Oh ya, just need a ratchet with right sized heads, scraper for the diff cover, RTV for the diff cover, diff oil, brake cleaner to wash out your housing and a some time

i have been running a lock rite in my rear 44 for about 8 years with absolutely no issues or unloading bangs. works flawlessly with stock shafts and 36 inch iroks.

i had one in my front also for a couple of months, but broke too many shafts with my 36s, so i just replaced the axle and didn't swap out the locker.

rear is a lot easier than the front to install. front required me to remove the ring gear. still only took me a couple of hours to do.

worth every bit of money and effort.

richmond lock rite all the way.
