i smoked my tail lights today and they came out pretty good and you can still see my brake lights and blinkers clearly. does anyone have pictures of cut fenders in the front and the body cut flush with the bumper instead of the flare rapping around cus that is my next step. thanks guys

i wet sanded let dry wet sanded again. the i cleaned very well with acetone or alcohol you can use then make sure everything in clean and dry before you spray and also make sure that you sanded the old clear coat off. once all this is done i used vht nightshade and you can get it at a local autoparts store. spray in very light even coats and make sure you hold the paint about a foot away. this is 2 even coats and you can tape off your reverse light if desired like i did. also if you want it to shine apply a clearcoat once its dry but mine are not clear coated i like the duller look.

I have a few buddies that started smoking out all there tail lights and the ones that looked the best was the ones done with rc car smoke paint. the nightshade was darker when you hit the breaks than the rc car paint and looked not as good. If I was to do this, I would use the rc car paint because it looked better and was brighter when you hit the breaks. just my opinion.
