Did they make a rear seat back that has head rest built in or a taller back seat in case of a wreck

 

I had little children when I got my first cherokee and had the same question. I think the correct answer is not here in the U.S., but overseas models do have rear seat head rests. While living overseas I saw many cherokees with head rests, the slide in type.

 

I think the grand Cherokee swap gives you head rests.

Are the rear seat from a grand cherokee a direct swap or do you have to mod them to work.

I had the same question.I have 3 car seats in the back and I did not want to put the kids in danger. I bought High back car seats. when they get old enough I may have to look into the switch.
