whatever is more available to you. grab the extra set of pins and springs when you order the locker.

any lunch box overtime from what I have experienced round the teeth on them. the spartan does feel a little beefier though. carry an extra spring kit.

since its kind of a recent thread, i will ask, i found a lock right for my d35 on CL for $150 new( was bought for 89 yj/d35 i crossed the part numbers already). it's my will be my daily driver. which means it will be driven in the snow, i have been reading up on them and i need some opinions. safe/ unsafe, whether or not its gonna be reliable, am i gonna break my axle the first time i go of road, i'll be running 31-32max on it, locked in the rear only, thanks

Never had any luck with lockrights, yota wanted to unload all the time and went thru springs in less than a year. My current spartan is physically larger and the springs are as well. Been running it hard for over a year and it's just as tight as it was new. I had a lockright up front for a couple of rides before it broke off several teeth, it was set up within spec. They don't tend to like big tires. Some will argue with that but if you look they won't warranty one if you run anything larger than 33s, even with a D60.

id be buying it off craigslist for $150 im not going any bigger than the d35 for now, and i'll be running 31-32's, its been a light winter and i probably wont even put it in (if i get it) still it warms up. Im supposed to call the guy in a few minutes i'll probably just tell him i'll take it buy friday, and finish reading the rest of the locker threads (but actually pay attention this time). Thanks for the reply, im leaning towards a no tho.

My Spartan handles my 35s nicely. No regrets.
