http://www.kevinsoffroad.com/cart/ has kits for the xj and jz for a light bar that mounts to the roof rack.If you want a led light bar the xj has a few options the zj i only seen one some guy custom made for it.Another option is detours off road hes a vendor on here.He has a pillar mounts for both the zj and xj.

These will make your life a little easier...
Carr Light Bars

KC Daylighter

Truth be told, I've always liked the look of these on a square-bodied rig....
KC 69 Series

In the end it all comes down to personal preference. Lot's of folks (my self included) can and will go on and on about how great LED's are (and they are freakin' awesome!) but it's up to the guy or gal that's spending their hard earned cash to decide how best to spend it.
Do your research, compare features....and buy what you want, not what some faceless clown (yeah...that would be me as well) wants you to buy.

Are we talking about LED light bars, or light bars for mounting conventional lights? These get mixed up very easily.
If you're talking LED, I prefer the small ones. I have a 10" mounted on the front of my bumper. It's somewhat set towards the inside of the bull bar and is very protected this way.

(sorry, no night shots yet)
