Default Light bar 50in straight or curved

OK, 50in straight or 50in curved light bar mounted on top of windshield?

Booo! I despise that look because of all the mall crawlers. One that big isnt ever neccessary either. Curved looks better I think though.

Curved looks better-
For function though a light bar above your windshield is only effective for blasting out a lot of light that's un-useful. and in some cases blinding. For added visibility you're always better off mounting lights low.

Personally, I ran the straight light bar. The brackets I ran from Inspired Engineering could be clamped to the gutter rail.

The only brackets that I know that are made specifically for the curved look require drilling and riveting into the bodywork.

Totally unrelated but how do you like the STT pros? Trying to decide between MT/R's, KM2's and the STT's

Curved or straight is more up to you,But the light bar its self matters. You don't want a combo light pattern you want spot only. And the ip rating matters,IP67 is water resistant while IP68 is water proof. Most cheapo light bars are Ip67 btw.

No offense taken. It was a one-owner grandma Jeep in perfect condition and I kept it that way every step of the way before I traded it in for the Rubicon I have now. Any time I went into any mud or trail, I washed it when I went home to keep the paint and bearings pristine.

I liked them, but they were just heavy tires. Between those three, I think the STT Pros are the best bang for your buck.
