I would try shopping around some more for the install. You are looking at $500 in parts so your labor must be really high.

I'm planning on doing this myself since I think a couple hundred an axle is high.

I would buy the parts and tools and do the re-gear yourself. You would learn how and have the tools to do it your self in the future. You would be into it way less that way. Paying for labor is hard to chew on for me lol.

4.56s are where its at btw.

Thanks Dumajones, I just emailed them so we'll see what they say. I'm definitely going to go 4.56, the labor up here is just ridiculous, I may ask around on base to see if the vehicle maintenance guys might be able to show me how to do the gears correctly. That could be a good way to learn and not blow up any diffs in the process lol

First: Regearing > More Lift

Second: What size tire do you want to run?
4.5" Lift, 33's, 4.56's = Good Setup
6.5" Lift, 33's, 4.56's = I think is to high
6.5" Lift, 35's, 4.56's = You'll wish you had 4.88's

Third: What Rear Axle do you have?
Don't waste your money on a D35.
Get a 8.25 29 Spline for cheap / Swap a D44 or 8.8

x2

I see no reason to blow that big of a chunk of money at this point. Wait till you get back down to the lower 48 to mess with it.
