Default Lift help please

I am dying to get my xj lifted and with christmas and my birthday both coming up I am gonna get one. I plan on a 4 inch lift with 30 inch tires. I am going to get the Zone 3 inch kit full leaf pack with a 1 inch shackle and spacer. I know I am going to need some other stuff for it but i want to have a set list of everything i will need so i can plan out cost. Could you guys help me out with what else i will need? so far i got adj track bar, tcase drop (sye will come in future), steering stabilizer. What else would i need?
Thanks!

New brake lines and control arms would also be added, but why not go with a complete kit? It will come out to be the same in cost in the end.

1. only 30" tires? even a mild rig should recieve 32" mud tires. if this is a street only xj, dont bother with the shackle and spacer
2. that kit doesnt come with lower control arms. you should get some
3. SYE, probably will NOT need this just yet. tcase drop, maybe
4. steering stabilizer is not needed. if you want one, get the $20 from autozone it's all the same

^^ this. it's sounds like you're already piecing together a lift anyway. $510 for some leafs and coils is a waste
4.5" coils from seriousoffroad $65
2 3.5" leaf packs from OME $260
then you've got $185 left over to put toward some shocks and shackles
boom. way better kit

4" is way taller than necessary for 30" tires. 30s can easily clear with no lift, even with no trimming if its not wheeled hard.

i never even thought about piecing a kit together, but cost wise that sounds like what i am gonna do now. and why the 30 inch tires is this will mainly be a street xj, with some trials here and there, nothing serious, but i also like the look of them on a 4 inch lift. thanks for the help guys. but regarding sye and tcase drop. i should be okay for a tcase drop on 4 inches right?

you will need swaybar endlinks too. i have a bran new set of 3-4.5 sway links. never installed. Bushing and all still in the box. if you want them pm me. I'll give you a good deal.
they are Iron Rock. I got a set of JKS quicker discos so i dont need these.

I also agree with Atmos. Since you are street duty only; you will be fine with a t-case drop. You won't need brake lines either. just relocation brackets. as long as you stay on road and dont disconnect the front sway and flex it out. Once you go offroad and disconnect the swaybar, you will want break lines.

I have a 4.5" lift that i'm installing soon. I just got up/lwr c/a's and i'm waiting for my 33" tires and new 15x10 rims to be delivered. Mine is a mall crawler for now until i can get breaklines and skid plates. But i'm regearing first.
good luck to you.

so I have decided that i am gonna go with rubicon express. It seems like a pretty complete kit for what i get and price wise. I will be getting the 3.5 super ride one and i will get the double tube shocks and track bar. Anyone have experience with this lift? Seems like a lot of people like it and its solid.
