Lesson learned...
Gentlemen (and ladies, if there be any reading), I would like to share some advice that many of you veteran wrenchers probably already know, but could use some reassuring there of. This is also VERY beneficial to any newbie wrenchers.
If something is stuck, work with it; don't fight it. Especially a hose. Yanking and forcing never ends well, and can end rather nasty and painfully. Despite having the common sense of knowing what would happen, I ignored such sense and yanked and pulled a heater hose. The result is below (BE WARNED! If squeamish, look away!).
The hose suddenly released, making my 300 lb frame yank backwards and drag my hand along a stainless steel hose clamp, cutting me as deep as about 3/16". Bled like a dog, hurt later on, and all from my own stupidity.
Learn from me fellas. Force never works. Patience does.

Try having a spinning cut off wheel in your hand get stuck and when you free it, it spins across your palm. Cut and cauterized in one pass. Getting cut like that is a rite of passage. Been cut like that or worse, almost losing fingers from being smashed, etc.
Welcome to the club, we have jackets.

Ouch is that only your hand? It looks like more than a hand at this angle.
I would get some stitches in that, or seek medical attention to avoid infection or future health problems.

I have invested in new gloves, clean and dress the wound daily, and no stitches. a $150 copay for the ER with my insurance? Pfft. No thanks.
So far so good. That pic was snapped after I managed to stop the bleeding when it happened Tuesday. It's already starting to scab over and doesn't hurt an ounce nor is it tender or swollen. Tetanus shots are up-to-date on me lol. I will say Epsom Salt baths for something like this hurt like sin though when it was fresh.
Jbsjunk... OUCH! And there are jackets?? lol

Funny thing is..
Wife is a CNA, and helped me a good deal to make sure it was clean and bandaged. Was back under the hood today since I had time, and she just gave me a funny look. Told me if I sliced the other hand open, she is gonna pull a Bubble Boy on me lol.

Don't forget to protect your eyes. You don't want to get a piece of metal in them. I had a piece deep in my eye they had to "de-bur" which is technical speek for drilling. There's nothing like smelling your own eye burning

I slipped doing the RMS and sliced the tendon in my ring finger across the crank shaft. Bandaged and casted for two weeks. 2 days after I hot it taken off went to move a rad hose will the engine was running and cut two of my fingernails off from that metal fan in front of the engine
