Man up, stick a paper towel and some electrical tape on it and move on. I don't think I've ever wrenched on anything without cutting my knuckles or hands open. Hell I burned myself twice yesterday welding and tagged the side of my hand with a grinder, just glad I had a sanding disk on there instead of a cutting one.

That's one thing I won't screw around with anymore. Seen too many guys get pieces of metal in their eyes and I don't want any part of that. If I'm cutting or grinding anything anymore I've got safety glasses on, and more often than not my welding helmet as well.

Welcome to the club, we have jackets.
I know all too well how that feels had the zip disk slice into my left wrist two weeks ago severing my medial nerve ( the one that controls the power fingers) now I'm out of working on my jeep for 8 months with absolutely no use or feeling in my left hand ( that's a hard lesson )
