key fop / alarm

key fop / alarm
Hi All,
I don't know if I have a key fop or a alarm system issue on my '96 GC 4x4 5.2 limited.
the lock part works great - but the unlock doesn't and if I unlock with the key the alarm goes off and disables the jeep.
1) is it possible to program a new key fop? what's the process?
2) is it possible to just disable the alarm? I really don't need it, nothing there to steal
3) is there any way with the key to disable the alarm?

2. Not sure. Is it factory or aftermarket?
