I am starting this thread to all of us who decided to listen to Cruiser on how easy his suggestions are to warn other members this isn't always the case. The below took place this last weekend even after I specifically PM'D Cruiser asking if it was an easy 2 Beer job. Here is what happened on the "simple" head lamp wiring harness install. I hope you all enjoy. Note I wouldn't normally post a PM on a public chat but I think Cruiser felt bad and wanted me to warn everyone about this "simple" job. 
No No No, not an easy 2 beer job, not on an old Jeep. First when I was routing the harness through on the passenger side all of a sudden I hear a vacuum leak, I didn't even see the vacuum hoses and I cracked one, so off to the store to make a splice, do you think I could get my hands in that little space oh no, so I had to remove the headlamp mount, at that time I discovered one of the adjusting screws was messed up, the plastic tabs had broken off at some point. So I said screw it and fixed my vacuum hose, then I finally got the harness all routed correctly. Now was the time to put the light back in, guess what I was missing two of the screws that hold the bezel to the headlamp mount, it was now 6:00 pm and a few beers (notice few not 2) so I figured I would just go to the store on Sunday. Got to Napa, they had the adjustment screws they appeared like they would work but they didn't have the little stupid screws that I had lost, so off to another store, in my truck, that decided it was a good time to start leaking anti-freeze and for the fuel pump to start acting up. Found a couple of screws that would work. Then I spent about an hour trying to get the stupid headlamp mount put back in, (few more beers). Finally got the headlamp mount in now for the fun tasks of securing the headlamp, well the screw head on the new screws were .0005 mm bigger then the original so it took some trial and error to get them in and a couple more beers. Finally success, both headlamps in, with the grill back in place, no vacuum leaks everything working great, so I had a celebratory beer. Fast forward to 8:00 pm, time to go adjust the light I go out to the driveway back the Jeep up and try to adjust the lights, thinking this will be easy, well NOOOO it wasn't the stupid adjusting screw popped backwards and stripped itself out, so my light is pointing right at the ground. So drove the Jeep back into the garage went inside had another beer thinking what the hell is wrong with this job, it was supposed to be easy, I have torn this Jeep down so many times why did a simple job go so wrong, then I remembered it is a Jeep and that is what happens. So my wife got on the internet and found the adjusting screws like what was originally there, bought those and a hood rod support so it wouldn't sit on the relay's for the headlamp. Another $20 later and a couple more days I might actually get to see how much better the lights are. But until then my wife is driving around a Jeep with one headlamp pointed at the ground which looks really stupid, but at least she doesn't have to go anywhere in the dark.
All in all It should have been an hour at most to do, but since I have terrible luck it was much longer and a half rack of beer, but I think it will all be worth it once it is finally fixed.

No not really it was really just meant as a joke, for others to laugh at the situation. I think it is funny since an easy job turned into a 2 day event, when I have done more complicated things that I thought would take longer they have only turned out to be a 2 hour project.

My wife pointed out that I left some of the curse words and throwing of pliers out of my story, I don't remember that part but she said it happened, Oh yea and I forgot the fact that I started this project in my driveway instead of my garage since it was a nice day until the Jeep gods decided to RAIN and HAIL on my parade so I had to push it into the garage to finish.
