Default Just got a Cherokee

So i just bought my first Cherokee, a 2000 with 182k miles and i was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep it running in good shape. Thankfully it runs great because the previous owner took very good care of it. It is the upcountry model if that means anything.

Congrats. We need pics. My best tip for a 2000 is to make sure it doesn't overheat by keeping your cooling system in good shape. The heads are known to crack when overheating on the 2000-2001 models.

I know that this won't contribute much, but general maintenance is the key! Regular oil changes, keep an eye on your fluids, keep an eye out for any leaks, then monitor those leaks.
The Jeep Cherokee is one of the best teaching tools out there. It is pretty easy to repair almost anything on it with simple tools. Don't be scared of anything on it, this forum is filled with an amazing amount of knowledge, just search the threads, and if you can't find the answer, just ask.
