seriously though if it had three row seating, came out last year, and the front end wasn't so fugly it could have possibly been a contender when my wife bought her '13 buick rendezvous.. but it would have been a street queen as my wife doesn't wheel..

The front end look seriously kills the vibe for that thing. The rest I couldn't give a **** about (ifs, boohooing everything new and computerized). I wouldn't be working on a new car that has a warranty for YEARS. I got my Jeep cause I can find idiot hand-holding walk throughs for all the maintenance and it's cheap.

That said, my girlfriends volkswagen needs a $600 computer to know how much ATF to put into it. No dipstick. FML! That stuff eventually catches up and it makes them a ***** to own.

Who is going to get one and rally the **** out of it and see what it's capable of and blame any failures on "new technology"?

BLEW MY TIRE ON A ROCK, DAMN 2014 COMPUTERS!

I can see rally for this, that actually seems more fitting for it than anything else, locker, independent suspension, etc... That I can get on board with. But anything else? Just dumb

Yeah, I want to see someone beat the **** out of it! And or put it into Jeepspeed. The regular cherokee isn't exactly a godsend of offroad capability until dudes put all kinds of mods onto it. It works, but the new one will too.

New BMWs (probably some other brands too) don't even have an oil dipstick anymore.

If we think it costs a lot to have a vehicle repaired at a dealership NOW, wait until they have a monopoly on auto repair and they're the only game in town.

I actually saw one "in the flesh" yesterday driving to the inlaws in Houston. I always thought they were really fugly, but I was wanting to see one in person to really make up my mind. I gotta say, that thing is really fugly. Saw it from different angles and it just didn't look that good to me.

Usually most vehicles look good when they're brand new with shiny paint, wheels and tires, when KL's age a little they're really going to look bad.

LOL, a new KL commercial just came on (refuse to call it a cherokee) and they touted the fact that it has 8 inches of ground clearance, and could go through as much as 20" of water....awesome if you want to go over curbs and go through flooded intersections....
