Just bought the zone 4.5 zone lift...Now what??
I just bought the zone 4.5 inch lift ..now what? Madness?.
Last night on eBay..after careful thought and shopping...I decided on the 4.5 zone lift for my 99 jeep xj...is the lift to big for daily driver??I also got a stablizer....no it's the add a leaf.....do I need a driveshaft now? What add ons would u recommend? Will this kit just blow everything up...truck ruined..cats and dogs living together..pure madness?..

I highly recommend a SYE to fix drive line vibration problems the you will have with that much lift. I also suggest a new adjustable track bar that is double shear instead of the weak ball stud style.

It is fine for a DD (I am at 6.5" and have driven all over the country) BUT you might have some more expenses in line for you. Like they mentioned- SYE, possibly extended brake lines, driveshafts, track bar etc. You should link up the kit you bought so we can see what it came with.
What size tires are you trying to run? It won't look very good nor does it make any sense to keep the stock tires on there after a 4.5 lift. If you plan on going up to 33/35s etc, you are then going to have to spend some money on the axles as well.
Not saying it was a bad idea etc. but there is a lot more to it (money, time, research) than buying a kit and slapping it on there The higher you go, the more expensive it becomes.
