Default Jk wheels on xj?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has tried or just knows if JK wheels with the 255/75/17 tires will fit an XJ with a 3" lift, any input helps, thanks!

I'm pretty sure your wheels are from a TJ.

yupp, JKs are 5x5. I've heard bad things about adapters for offroad use, but if you're just using em on the street they should be fine. Try and keep them under 1.5 inches thick. Newer style rims may have a higher offset but you don't want to try and overcompensate with the adapter, it can cause problems. just my .02

I have some on my F100.

I have had spidertrax spacers on 3 of my cherokees in the past 5 years. Not a single problem at all with them at all. no broken studs and no wheel-offs. I dont do hardcore wheeling but i do get my fair share of beating.

Thanks for the replies men, the more I think about the more of a headache it will probably eventually be trying to put 17's on there not to mention the cost of replacing the rubber, think I'll stick to 15's haha thanks again
