I was wonderin, how you guys mounted your Jerry cans, and also how you poured them. Any ideas welcome thanks!

How do you pour yours? I thought about makin a funnel or somethin.

 

Put it on the roof and use a siphon hose (S. FL credit card)

 

They use a foot long flexible metal spout on that you screw into the can
called a "donkey dick"

 

Where can a get one?

 

I have not heard that saying since my service days. A much better one is the type we used in the service. Insert into the opening, push down the locking lever (that expands the rubber gasket surface of the spout) then pour. After using this type you will never want to use the screw in again. The ones we used in the service were about 1-1/2" in diameter. But a few years ago I did find one at an off-road show for unleaded gas.

Look in surplus stores, good off-road shops (like Dick Cepeks old South Gate store), and off-road shows. They do turn up.

 

Call your local auto parts store and tell them you need a "Donkey Dick" they should have one in stock.

 

Still think a siphon hose is easier n faster. Didn't know the tube was that hard to find or I would have given em to ya.

Just stick in and start shaking it like a certain part of the male anatomy. It starts squirting.
Sure beats swallowing a mouthful of gas or diesel.
I use it all the time to put diesel in the tractor.
