In 3 years I've only gotten 1 person in an XJ to ever wave to me and he waved first. JK drivers are completely out of the question, and when i even begin to nod or wave to a TJ/YJ/CJ driver they look the other way or rev their engines like they are better than me. Has anyone ever gotten the wave from a wrangler driver first?
I wave to all jeeps in my 2004 TJ.

i have only gotten 1 in the three months i've had it and i waved first. most are either rude or oblivious.
I don't even waste my time with the newer ones no matter what model they are.
but i always look to wave.

I wave to any jeeps except the new patriots, libertys, and compas. Most of the time they wave back especially if you can tell they 4x4. The jk owners really wave I see quite a few where I live and mostly all of them wave. It just depends on the person driving. I could care less if they don't wave back though.

Whenever I wave at Jeeps, its almost like they're shocked and it takes a second to sink in...but by that time, I'm passed them so I dont get a wave back.

ya every biker waves at me, when i was 16 i was riding a 1979 honda 250 4 stroke enduro piece of crap, and even guys on harleys would wave at me. now i have a ninja, and i get waves from everyone, accept some of the stuck up chopper guys.....
The biker wave is the best. I ride a Kawasaki but even the Harley guys will wave. The only guys that don't wave most of the time are the Goldwing guys. But they are probably too busy adjusting their stereo, climate control, intercom system, ride comfort, or coffee mug warmer.
