I was out driving with my gf & her father around 7pm & got tboned by a black police cruiser doing 55 in a 45 zone. He was driving without ANY lights on at dusk so I could not see him while crossing traffic.

The jeep saved our lives that day. Thank you jeep for making such a great car.

I'm surprised. Cops around here think they have the right of way regardless of signs, lights, or anything else. Glad everybody is OK.

What was the cop driving? 90% of Crown Vics have auto headlights.

Did they say it was your fault? I'd fight that until the end.

 

Our provincial detachment here are a bunch of young broke back cowboys. Runnin those impalas at wide open, goin by everyday. No way, no way!! there's that much action to get to in this county. Cowboys! Makin it to the last coffee and donut call. See them honing into town and right to the coffee shop. The 3 month rookie took the brunt when he totalled the new cruiser into the woods, charged with racing by the town force. Out and out abuse of privilege. Town force is real standup group. Obviously a sore point with me. Sorry to rant.
