Jeep kids
My son will be two in November, and is still in my opinion to young to really be involved in my XJ. He does love to be around it when we are outside playing. Mainly because he loves the letter E, so he walks around pointing all of them out even on the tires. Every time he does though it makes me think about how to get him involved in something I hope one day he will have an interest in, and it can be something we can do together. So I was wondering if I could get other people to share how are some other kids are involved in Jeeps with the adults in their lives.

My daughter is 35 now. but even my son-in law borrowed my Jeep last Deer season. So he could leave their only working car (at the time) for my daughter to use. Worked out OK because it had snowed all week where he was hunting. And the jeep turned out to be the only capable vehicle to haul the deer out of the woods, and back to the cabin. As long as he didn't do anything stupid with it. (like drive it after the celebration) I didn't mind. And there was the usual venison fee applied.

Well I have a daughter (just turned 8mo) and this Xmas I am planning to build a toddler bed similar to this for her (shes already walking around).

The only difference will be that it will be pink and I'll try to get some of the rubber hood latches for the hood and turn the engine compartment into a toy box. I know it's not a Cherokee but I cant think of a practical way to make an XJ bed.

2. cut it into 4 or 5 pieces
3. move it to her room and weld it back together
4. throw a mattress and some pillows in there.

My Dad is 50. Once I finished building my first XJ I let him drive once and now he's hooked. Granted he doesn't have an XJ but he goes wheelin with me all the time in a full width Samurai on 38's.
I have a baby on the way now and if it's a boy I'll be asking the same question.
But, honestly, I don't really think getting a redneck youngin interested in big jacked up vehicles will be very difficult.

1. Size (that would have to be a very large room)
2. Maneuverability (I would have to cut it up to move it)
3. Sharp Edges
4. Welding (Inside on the carpet?)
