Alright guys so my key cylinder as at the locked position. I turn it back TOWARD ME 1 click and i get my wipers, and blinkers to work.
I turn it over the other way all the way and i can start my jeep that way now!!
When it wouldnt start so it had a push button.
Is my key cylinder in wrong? what is going on? im so confused!!!

 

I'd say it's the ignition switch (electrical portion). Just changed mine today because I only had ac, radio, and turn signals when in acc position.... It got stuck in the off position about 2 years ago and I forced it to turn and it's been working fine since except i had to apply a little back pressure when removing the key... Saturday it stuck again and after some wiggling it finally turned but all the electronics were out of wack.

Part was $9 at carquest and took about an hr. and all is good again
