So this is my roommates jeep. I'm thinking about buying it from him because my other one died in honor Hahahaha

'88 body
RE 4' inch lift with disconnects
33 inch toyo open country tires with 15 inch steelys
It has a 96 motor in it

Down fall.... still on the '88 throttle body and injectors
So none of the power is there from my H.O. I had

And of course all the goodies you see it comes with. Should I get it?.....

Right around the 2500 mark in price

Yeah it sucks.... oh well. I guess I can make do. Been looking into new injectors for it. Maybe I can get more power that way

Find an HO ecu and harness, and just run an HO manifold abd fuel rail

not exactly plug and play, you are removing all of the renix harness and putting in the H.O. harness.

i would suggest using a 96 so you can have OBD2 diagnostics.

but, it will involve needing a complete engine harness, intake manifold setup, 96 sensors, and a 96 ECU, along with the data port. pretty much finding a junk 96-99 XJ and pulling whatever you need.

its kind of involved, but WELL worth it. that motor will wake up with the later ECU and intake, and just drive so much smoother.

Think some injectors swap would help?
