Plan is to save the old tcase a find a 23 input gear and swap them

Please help i got everything bolted back together and it wont start whats going on
88 renix 4.0 ax15 (just swapped in)

Can anyone help me
When i put the flywheel on my cps got stuck behind it and i didn't know until i had torqued down the flywheel
I didn't think nothing of it so i just pulled it out and keep going
Now that i got everything back together it wont start
Do u think its because my cps got smashed???
Please help im moving next week and this my jeep to run

I know that. I switch the hole entire speedo cable with the gear into the new tcase and it does not work.
What can i do to fix that

Not sure about the t-case's with the Speedo cable, but I know on the electric Speedo setups you have to orient the gear retainer (for lack of a better term) correctly for the number of teeth on the Speedo gear.

So should i count the old one that was in the tcase that in my jeep now and match it to the old one form my old tcase
