Well, as the title states, I bleed blue, so it was inevitable that I had to do something with a Ford logo to make this thing different...
I was hunting around in the backyard for something to make a tool rack in the back of the XJ out of and came across the grille that come out of my old 93 Explorer and was like "hmmm"
trimmed about 3/8 inch off each side, cut the top lip down to about 1/2 inch, drilled 4 holes in it, and screwed it on...

I can't wait to see the confused look on people's face. The "Jeep" emblems will soon say "-deep-" (with the little lines beside it) as sort of a joking water/mud level guide as soon as I can find 2 more p's in the junkyard, so there will not be any brand confusion going on lol

well, it will eventually (sooner, rather than later hopefully) have a 302, t18 4 speed, and np205 in it, so the Blue Oval will have a purpose... I was just bored and didn't do anything that couldn't be easily reversed

Nothing wrong with mixing brands, parts, etc., makes life interesting.
I have a Ranger trans hooked up to a Chrysler flathead engine, (1937),
in my 38 Plymouth Coupe. Where there is a will, there is a way...
I am looking for another XJ, 2wd, engine & trans, to put in my next project,
a 37 Plymouth Coupe.....

I thought of swapping in a Jeep 4.0 and AW4 in place of the problematic 4.2 I6 in my Jaguar XJ6, but then decided to do a SBC swap instead.
