We have gun port openings (like mail box slots, but a little bigger) under the windows, in our cabin in northern Wisconsin. There has been quit a few deer shot, with out ever leaving the cabin.

Will do man... Plus that second deer is not really the biggest there... Just what pics ive got... Its 1200 acres with a 7 bedroom cabin/barn and only three of us hunt it... Its $2500 a year but its also like a vacation home... And that includes year round feeding and stands and stuff so cant beat it...

I'm only in it for the meat. Not the sport. And it sure beats freezing out in the cold. Duck hunting with my brothers from a pontoon boat (that also sits up north at the cabin year round), is pretty comical. Last time I went it was 3 guys, with nine shotguns in the boat. (got to have plugs in them, but no limit to the number of guns you can carry) The warden stopped us to check for plugs and lic. And just left shaking his head. The cabin sits on a big flowage (High falls Flowage) in northern Wisconsin. The picture here only shows less than a quarter of it. Name: flowageview.jpg

A lot of walleye, muskie, bass, northern, pan fish there. But the county it is in. Marinette Co. has 3/4 of Wisconsin's trout streams in it. And I like trout fishing. All within a 30 mile drive from the cabin. I believe there are 12 sets of waterfalls. In that county also. Most of them are state parks though.

I only use my 5 ft. ultra lite, for trout. Too much over hanging branches. For a fly rod. I don't even wear waders anymore, just old tennis shoes. I see a lot of people slip in the streams. Their waders filled up and sucked them down the rapids. Just a ultra lite (with 2lbs. siperwire on it) a can of crawlers, my little clip on 3x3" tackle box (with mostly split shot sinkers BB size, and brass Aberdeen hooks, Those will straight out if snagged good. I would rather keep my line, than the hook) And a stringer. gave up wearing the creel.

45-55 lbs would be great. A 50lb bow will kill about anything in the states.

You want to be comfortable shooting it, instead of straining to pull it back and hold it.

I shoot long bow now though, and that is a different animal.
