i hunt with mine and it is blue and yes dear see blues and ultra violet colors but i would be more worried about the other hunters in the area. i was in the neccadh wildlife refuge and i was the only one down this road well when i came back my tire is on the top of the jeep but the rachet straps were off but i have it locked and there was only one car on the road with me a nissan pathfinder so i waited at the end of the road untill they came out and blocked them in ( no other way out bc it goes into a swap) got out and opened the driver side door said who the f$$$ touched my jeep and the guys look at each other and said we didnt your tire was like that when we came in. so at that point i took the driver out of the car and put my knee in his neck and then the passenger grabbed my shoulder to pull me away as my unce pulls up and he jumps in and puts that dude in a head lock and hes like wtf did you do and i said they tried to take my tire off the jeep my uncle goes oh s@@@ you guys just woke the lion and the guy i had my knee on tried to punch me so he got it good and then as my uncle held the other guy back i got up and give the passenger one for good luck.
so what i am getting at is that the deer dont care about cars i have walked to my car unloaded and there are deer eating right by it you need to worry about other hunters f###ing with your s##t
and these guys were from michigan

I hate people like that^^^ iv had problems like that with other hunters who actually pee around my stand when I'm not there so no deer would come around. Who does that? Thats straight up dirty.

Just park it about 200 yrds away. Always worked for me but if you want a cheap cover for it just find a trampoline net, spray paint it camo, let it air out then use it when season comes.
Yep, this realization started when I had the perfect spot in a tree where I saw this sweet 12 point buck the day before. So I get all set up in the tree the next morning, patiently waiting.
Here comes my dad, late into the woods, instead of walking he is riding his bright yellow quadrunner!! I thought no way! What does he think he is doing! About 30 yards from me. So I just sit there watch him park and walk off into the woods.
About 15 minutes later I am still pissed, not paying attention to anything except this bright yellow quad right in my shooting lane.
That dag gone buck walks right past the quad like it was not there. Since I was still fuming about my dads intrusion, I did not have the bow ready. Tried to get it all together and aimed but too late. The buck spotted me and was gone.
Lesson learned

You can handle more then 40lbs... get the largest you can pull back basically... Should be able to buy a full size bow and maybe drop its pound to lowest if ya have to... Buy a bow for long term use... They will last a lifetime and technology cant get a heck of a lot better with them... I shoot a PSE Axe7... blacked out with red and black strings... Got a deal on it so dropped the dimes... The bowvi was shooting i got in 8th grade bout 1998 for $75 from a friend... Old PSE... I killed two deer with it still season before last... I got my moneys worth... Just never saw the point of buying new when i was still killin deer... Finally it was time... This one should last years for me... Lol...

I know I can pull more than 40lbs im 5'7 180 pretty strong guy I consider myself but Its my first bow so I was considering something easy to use just to get the vibe of archery. I also dont have such a large reach keep in mind ive never shot a bow I dont mind upgrading to a bigger bow as I gain experience I just want something to learn with (backyard shooting). Guy on craigslist is selling a jennings lightning 28" draw with a 60 pound bow with arm rest, sight for $100. Thinking bout jumping on it.
