Im trying to decide what back spacing im gonna get on a new set of wheels. So for those still running stock width axles with no spacers, how many inches do you have between the tire and inner fender on the back of your XJ. Also list your wheel/tire width and also back spacing on your wheels.

Reason i ask is, im gonna be running my 35x14.50 boggers on a 15x8 wheel and wanting 3.75 back spacing. I done some measuring/figuring and with 3.75 back spacing there will be 6"s from the wheel hub to the outside of the tire. Well, from mounting pointing of the wheel, flush against the drum to the inner fender is 8 1/4"(this is on the back), leaving me roughly 2 1/4" between the tire and inner fender when mounted. Recon this is enough or will it rub like hell during flex?

Im gonna be doing a Low COG lift under this Jeep so 4"s tops is all its gonna have.

I have no idea what the back spacing is on my wheels, but I have 33x12.5x15 tires on 15x10 rims.. don't think this would help you any, but i dont rub at allwhen i turn..

i dont know but that seems a lil tight. If no other answers come up you could do just 35 12.50s or 315 75 16s which are the same size instead of 14.50s just a thought

See thats basically the wheel i just got rid of, like you have on yours. Im not wanting to go back with 10"s. Ill probably just give it a try with 3.75 backspacing, and if it rubs too bad, get some spacers..
