I can't fit in a vette.
I have a 99 XJ. Is it fast? Not really. It's quick, up to about 65. Then it has to work a little. I can still kickdown and pass people though. I wouldn't advise taking an XJ much above 80 anyways. Not unless you know every suspension compnent is in good standing, and your tires are too. Lol. Thing got squirelly when I took up to 90 (flat road).
Mine is also currently stock.

I'm going to pull a Frankenstein and bring this thread back to life because it's wwwaaayyy too amusing. Has anyone ever checked out the mechanic who bought an XJ for $500 ish and hit about 160 mph in it? He has a YouTube video on it. It's a white Cherokee. Won't be hard to find on the tube

according to the description it was destroyed in an accident during a drag run but he's making another drag Cherokee.
