Default Horn replacement

Hey I've had my cherokee for a year now and I get so embarrassed when I honk my horn because it sounds like a wimpy Barbie car horn. haa what type of horn should I consider getting to replace the current ones I got for a lower tone sound?

Is it the stock horn? I think the regular horn sounds alright. Is yours flooded?

I've heard that Buick Roadmaster horns from a specific year are low and loud.

There are 2 horns up front.

Easy fix?

I assume that my horn is the stock horn, so I would need to buy two of those horns on eBay correct? And it seems pretty easy to put on, just unbolt the existing horns and disconnect them and reconnect and rebolt the new ones, right?

You'd only need one of the Ebay ones. Notice how it's two horns in one, but you could definitely run two for more noise.

I'm guessing you have one?

I'm interested in what it sounds like, any videos?

Also, I'm no wiring guru. I see a relay and no harness. What are you supposed to do with that? Is it not a direct swap for the factory horns?

I just read that the older jeeps had issues with the horn button contacts needing cleaning to work properly. Mine has this issue where it only works 1/8 the time so I'm going to try that, maybe that'll help you too?

I've used at least 3 of them. Use the relay. Easy. We'll walk you through it or you can read the instructions.

Are those Hellas waterproof-ish?? My stock horns fill up with mud every single time I look at a mud puddle, I dont even bother honking at this point

Just found a set of these on Amazon warehouse for $38. Hope I don't start hanging out with Subaru owners after I install them

I would laugh out loud if I heard Supertones beeping from an XJ. Their sound doesn't fit the personality of a Cherokee at all, regardless of how loud they are.

I have a Subaru. I have a set of Supertones waiting to go into it when I find the time. They fit the Subaru. I wouldn't ever insult my XJ that way, though.
