Default Hood Locks - Anyone Use Them?

With the weather getting warmer, I'm going to want to drive around with my doors off. I was careful last year and didn't really go anywhere with my doors off where I was going to be parked for a while. I figured this year why not have peace of mind. I tried a quick search but didn't come up with anything. A brand to recommend or stay away from would be all I need.

Thanks

Well I'm more worried about parking somewhere when my doors are off, and someone popping my hood and taking the red top or anything else for that matter.

Hmm.. Maybe something that loops around the lever, that's connected to something that prevents it from being pulled?

Well it was an expensive battery. I live in a city, so I'm mainly trying to prevent something from happening, rather than having it happen. I also don't want someone messing with anything in the engine bay. My buddy had his electric mirrors stolen off his Expedition in an OK neighborhood while he was at a show. They'll steal anything pretty much. I just don't want to be in a parking lot with no doors, possibly no battery, saying gee I wish I had locked it lol.
