Here my friend was attempting to back out of a trail he could not navigate.

Couldn't get around the tree on the right. We used my highlift jack to hold his truck away from the tree while he backed up.

Probably sold 5 highlift jacks that day. LOL

I have seen people lay it on its side with two chains and used it as a winch to pull out a stuck truck before.

We used 2 once to get a buried diesel out of mud. Uesd one to lift it up it out of the hole the other to pull the tires out from above the hole( still took 6 hours off jacking tho )

A one foot square piece of heavy plywood really helps support the jack in soft earth or sand and doesn't take up room in the jeep.

A Hi-Lift can be used as a jack, a come-a-long, a spreader and a clamp. I carry a bottle jack that I use 99.9% of the time but I also have a Hi-Lift. The very few times that I have had to use it, I was glad I had it because a bottle jack wouldn't have worked at the time and place.
